The IBSA would like to invite you to join Anna Gamvros of Norton Rose Fulbright, Paul du Long of Otonomos and Larry Campbell of KPMG  for a discussion group meeting examining the impact of block chain and smart contracts on Hong Kong professional services firms.  This meeting will be held at the offices of KPMG, 8th Floor, Prince's Building, 10 Chater Road, Hong Kong on Tuesday 20th June at 18:00.

Professional services firms are starting to deal with block chain and smart contracts in their clients’ businesses and in their own.  These technologies have the potential to be highly disruptive and provide an opportunity to fundamentally change business models in a broad range of industries.  The speakers in this discussion group meeting will address the opportunities for block chain and smart contracts application for Hong Kong businesses, the legal issues regarding business application and, equally important, the current applications of these technologies by a professional services firm in Hong Kong.

Networking drinks and canapés, kindly provided by our host sponsor, KPMG, will follow the discussion and offer the opportunity to meet fellow members and their guests. This event is open to the public and is free to IBSA members and non-members.
