Transfer Pricing

Millenium Boardroom, Thomson Reuters, 3 Times Square

Tue 27 Oct 17:30

The IBSA North America Branch will host a discussion group on Transfer Pricing on 27 October in New York.

Join us for an in depth discussion of Transfer Pricing: The Post BEPS Landscape which follows the release of the final BEPS Project Deliverables from the OECD.

Places are limited for this event so don't miss out! Discussion will run from 5:30pm - 6:30pm EST, followed by a cocktail reception from 6:30pm to 8:00pm EST.

Saumyanil Deb of Thomson Reuters will lead a discussion around the expected impact of the latest BEPS announcements. On the agenda are:

  • Action Plan 9 addressing the risk aspects of transfer pricing;

  • Action Plan 8 on intangible assets including royalties and transfers of intangible assets;

  • Action Plan 7 addressing the legal issue of Permanent Establishments;

  • Action Plan 4 addressing the ability of multinationals to take intercompany interest rate deductions. Is this a legal issue or does it also have transfer pricing implications?

There will also opportunity to debate any wider areas likely to be impacted by the announcements coming from the OECD and EU such as:

  • Proposed changes to US corporate tax system in light of US inversions into UK and Ireland.

  • Prospects for continued deferral in the US for foreign investment.
