Chairman at Frank Hirth
Paul Hocking is a leading figure in the tax arena, advising private and business clients on a variety of UK/US tax issues. Paul has acted as Chair of the British American Business Inc. (BABI) tax forum in London and served two years on the Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee, a US congressional body, and was highlighted in Accountancy Age’s 2011 Financial Power list.
Paul has specialised in advising a broad range of clients on UK, US and International tax issues, and has been instrumental in developing the firm's client base since joining Frank Hirth & Co as their first employee in 1975.
Paul has a keen interest in philanthropy and is the Chair of Trustees and board member of Frank Hirth’s official charity partner, Riders for Health, where he has been actively fundraising for their work in Africa since 2008. He is also a trustee and board member of Philanthropy Impact, a UK based charity working to promote education, information and training for the wider philanthropy community.
Paul was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Frank Hirth plc in August 2006.
